Donald T. Tesch

Don was born and raised in upstate New York.  He graduated from Hobart College in Geneva, New York with a major in economics in 1976, and moved to Washington shortly thereafter.  He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Gonzaga Law School in 1979.  While in law school Don volunteered his services working as a law clerk and a legal intern for the Legal Services Corporation representing the indigent in a wide variety of cases but primarily consumer protection and debt related matters.

He is a founding partner in the law firm of Wurdeman & Tesch, P.C., and has been practicing law in Western Washington since 1979.

As a private attorney he has had extensive experience in the areas of bankruptcy law, criminal law, family law and civil litigation.  In recent years, he has emphasized bankruptcy assisting over 10,000 individuals in bankruptcy and debt related matters.  He has served as a District Court Judge Pro-Tem since 1990.

Don is admitted to practice in all Washington courts, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Snohomish County Bar Association, and the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees.

 Don's personal interests include his family, gardening, the stock market, skiing, roller blading, and his dog.  Don is married and has two daughters.
